Giornalista, ha fondato con altri giornalisti internazionali la società no profit The Arctic Times Project con sede negli Stati Uniti. È stato per sette anni vicedirettore di Io donna. Ha realizzato inchieste e reportage in 56 paesi. Artico. Nel 2017 ha pubblicato il libro “Artico. La battaglia per il Grande Nord” (Neri Pozza).

Paolo Maria Leo Cesare Maggiolini is a Research Fellow and Lecturer in History of Islamic Asia at the Catholic University of Milan and Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. His research are mainly focused on religion and politics in the Middle East and Mediterranean context, with particular concentration on Israel, Iraq, Jordan and Palestine, Arab
Chiara Lovotti is an Associate Research Fellow at the Middle East and North Africa Centre at ISPI. She previously was a Research Assistant at ISPI and a Research Assistant at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve. Chiara's research interests include socio-political transformations in the Middle East, with a focus on Iraq and Syria, relations between Russia and Middle-Eastern countries, and Russian foreign policy towards the area. Chiara is also a PhD candidate at the faculty of History at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
Eugenio Dacrema is an Associate Research Fellow for the MENA Centre at ISPI. Currently, he is a PhD student at the University of Trento.
Sara Cantachin is a Research Trainee for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Centre. After a Bachelor in International and Diplomatic Affairs, at the University of Bologna, she obtained a MA in International Relations at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. She holds a second MA in Cultural Diplomacy obtained at the Hochschule Furtwangen University, in cooperation with the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, in Berlin. She recently concluded ISPI’s Master in Diplomacy.
Federico Borsari is Research Assistant for the MENA Centre at ISPI. He was awarded his Bachelor in History at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He also holds a Master in International Relations from the University of Bologna and has recently completed a Master in Middle Eastern Studies at the Postgraduate School of Economics and International Relations (ASERI) of Milan.
Eleonora Ardemagni is an ISPI Associate Research Fellow (contributing habitually to the MENA Centre publications since 2013) and her research analysis focuses on Yemen, Gulf monarchies and Arab military forces. Teaching Assistant at the Catholic University of Milan (MSc courses “Regional Studies-Middle East” and “History of Islamic Asia”) and Gulf Analyst for the NATO Defense College Foundation.
Pejman Abdolmohammadi is Associate Research Fellow at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies. He is also Resident Visiting Research Fellow at the London School of Economics – Middle East Centre and Assistant Professor in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Genoa. Pejman was formerly a Lecturer in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies at the American John Cabot University in Rome, Italy (2013-2016).
