Aldo Ferrari (PhD) is Head of the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Program at the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) in Milan. He is Professor of Armenian Culture, History of the Caucasus and Central Asia, and History of the Russian Culture at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, where he is also Director of the ELEO Master’s Degree in Languages and Economies of Eastern Europe. Co-founder (2004) and President (2013-2016) of the Association of Italian Studies on Central Asia and the Caucasus (ASIAC), he is Editor of the series “Eurasiatica.
Dr Marika Djolai is a Senior Researcher and Head of Conflict and Security Cluster at the European Centre for Minority Issues. She is also a member of the Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group (BiEPAG). She holds masters degrees from the University of Novi Sad and University College London, UK, and she received her Doctorate in Development Studies (Conflict and Violence) in 2016 from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
Francesca Delicata is Director of the Corporate Programs at ISPI.
She joined ISPI in 2001 as a project and event coordinator, after experiences in research and publishing.
Carolina de Stefano is an Associate Research Fellow at the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. She is currently completing her Ph.D. at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and she is a visiting researcher at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow. She obtained her master’s degree from Luiss University in Rome, with a thesis on the Rule of Law in Russia.

With more than 25 years of global experience in the energy sector, Nicola is an expert in navigating the challenges of strategic development and technology innovation toward sustainable commercial success.
Francesco Daveri is SDA Professor of Practice at the Business School of the Bocconi University in Milan. He teaches Macroeconomics and is the Director of the Full-Time MBA. He taught in several Italian and European universities, including the Università Cattolica (Piacenza campus), Parma, Brescia, Munich and Lugano. He has acted as a consultant for Italy’s Ministry of the Economy, the World Bank,the Europan Commission and the European Parliament.
Adriana Cuppuleri is an independent researcher based in Berlin working on the post-Soviet space. She has received a Ph.D. from the University of Trento, Italy
