Carolina de Stefano is an Associate Research Fellow at the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. She is currently completing her Ph.D. at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and she is a visiting researcher at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow. She obtained her master’s degree from Luiss University in Rome, with a thesis on the Rule of Law in Russia.

Eleonora Ardemagni is an ISPI Associate Research Fellow (contributing to the MENA Centre since 2013) and her research analysis focuses on political and security issues in Yemen and the Gulf monarchies, and on Arab military forces.
Aaron Anfinson is a Director at Critica Research and Analysis in Washington, DC. He investigates issues of counterterrorism, post-conflict response and US foreign policy. He received his doctorate at the University of Hong Kong where he also worked as a reportage photographer, documenting ongoing challenges to democratic representation.
