Vivian G. Hagerty is an Analyst at Valens Global and a Master's Candidate in Georgetown University's Security Studies Program. Her research interests lie in international security, specifically terrorism and counterterrorism, the Middle East and South Asia.

Giorgia Gusciglio was a Research Assistant for the Middle East and North Africa Programme. She recently obtained a Master Degree in Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University and she has a BA in International Studies from University of Trento. In 2017, she spent three months carrying out research in Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan on access to water and inequalities.
Alberto Guidi is an ISPI Research Assistant at the Centre on Business Scenarios. He is the ISPI coordinator for the Task Force on “digital transformation” at the Think 20. He obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Milano Bicocca, a Master in Political Economy of Europe from LSE and a Master in Specialized Economic Analysis from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate journalism diploma at the London School of Journalism. He is a researcher and journalist, regularly writing for Il Sole 24 Ore.
Serena Giusti is Senior Associate Research Fellow for the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. She teaches International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis and Art and Politics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA) in Pisa.
Alessandro Gili is an Associate Research Fellow at the ISPI Centre on Business Scenarios (supported by Intesa Sanpaolo) and at the Centre on Infrastructure. He holds a Master in International Trade and Internationalization of Enterprises from the Italian Trade Agency, after obtaining a Master's Degree in International Relations at LUISS University of Rome and attending a course in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics (LSE).
Giovanni Giacalone was an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI. He earned a Master in Islamic Studies at the Trinity Saint David, with a dissertation on the development of Islamic communities in Italy. He is a sociologist and an expert on Islam. Giacalone is also a member of the Italian Association of Sociology, and in particular of its branch on religion. His main research fields are political Islam and Islamic radicalism in Italy, the Balkans, Caucasus and Malta.
Alice Gavazzi was Research Trainee for the Cybersecurity Centre at ISPI. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and she's attending a Master's Degree in International Relations and Security Studies at the University of Florence. Before joining ISPI, Alice worked as a Research Trainee for B.V. Tech S.p.A., conducting research on Computer Emergency Response Teams and Cyber and Information Warfare and working on the construction of a normative cybersecurity framework for the Lombardia region.
