Vincenzo Romano is a Project Officer at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation - Khartoum Office. Previuosly, he worked for the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation - Mogadishu Office as Program Manager. He obtained a Master Degree in European Studies at the University of Naples Federico II and a Master Degree in International Cooperation at ISPI. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Sciences and International Relations (University of Naples Federico II).
Dilys Roe's work focuses on pro-poor conservation: strategies for linking biodiversity conservation with poverty reduction and social justice. She also works on pro-poor tourism. She previously co-ordinated IIED's Evaluating Eden initiative, a global review of community-based wildlife management.
Francesca Robbiati is ISPI Head of General Services. She holds a Msc in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations from Bocconi University, Milan. After an internship at the DG for Human Resources at the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, she joined ISPI as Training courses programme manager. From 2005 to 2011 she was head of the ISPI School. From 2012 to 2019 she was Head for Operations and External Relations, in charge of staff management, economic planning and management control, supervision of extraordinary maintnance.
José Resendiz Garcia is a DPhil student at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment (SSEE) and a Research Assistant in the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group.
Alexandria Reid is a Research Analyst in the Organised Crime and Policing team at RUSI. Her research covers a range of topics related to serious and organised crime, including environmental security, illicit trade and related illicit financial flows. She is Project Officer for the Strategic Hub for Organised Crime Research (SHOC) at RUSI, and a Guest Lecturer for the Marjan Centre for the Study of Conflict and the Environment, King’s College London, where she teaches gender and environmental security.
Rafiq Raji is a research fellow at the NTU-SBF Centre for African Studies at Nanyang Business School in Singapore. A former Africa economist at Standard Chartered in London, Dr. Raji is also an Africa expert with Euromoney Country Risk. At home in Nigeria, he writes a weekly Africa-focused column for Business Day. A former senior correspondent with London-based New African and African Banker magazines, Dr. Raji has written for Forbes Africa and Africa Investor and has been interviewed by Al Jazeera, CNBC Africa, TRT World, and the BBC.
