Miguel Fernández Ibáñez is a journalist living in Turkey. He travels to Kosovo and other regions in the Balkans regularly to report for the Basque newspaper GARA and the Spanish digital media CTXT and Esglobal.

Huang Hongxiang graduated from the Journalism school at Fudan University and from SIPA (School of International and Public Affairs) at Columbia University of New York. Serena Giusti is Senior Associate Research Fellow for the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. She teaches International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis and Art and Politics at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA) in Pisa.
In December 2020, she took on a Full Professor position at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris. She remains an Adjunct at International Research Institute for Climate and Society (Earth Institute, Columbia University). She continues to research climate science, specifically African climate change on all time scales, and is extremely interested in the policy implications of scientific findings, and in the role of science and scientists in our global society.
A graduate of University of Naples ‘L’Orientale’, Gennaro Gervasio is currently Associate Professor in History and Politics of the Middle East and North Africa at University Roma Tre’s Department of Humanities in Italy. Prior to that, he has worked at the University of Bristol (UK), the British University in Egypt, and Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia where he was Director of the Centre of Middle East and North African Studies (2009/11).
Researcher at the Department of Asian and North African Studies of Venice “Ca' Foscari” University, Carlo Frappi is Associate Research Fellow for the Russia, Caucasus and Central Asia Centre at ISPI. Frappi, who holds a Ph.D. in European History, is also Adjunct Professor in Regional Studies at Catholic University of Milan and, since 2013, is a Member of the Board of Directors at the "Association for the Italian Study of Central Asia and the Caucasus" (ASIAC).
